Use AI to refine your Lead List preparation while driving down costs at the same time!
Long-time followers will already know that we at Digitera have been exploring the vast new potential that AI offers almost every aspect of the digital work that we all need to execute on a daily basis. Recently, we’ve been diving into the area of Lead List generation in a very big way, and have developed methods to use AI to scrape highly targeted and comprehensive data from the web. Best of all, we can do this at scale, and at prices that significantly lower costs than if you were paying an intern or even an overseas virtual assistant to execute on that task.
To get started, we need to ask three questions.
- What is the industry you wish to pull data for?
- What is the region you wish to pull data for?
- What are the data points you wish to scrape?
Let’s go with a simple rudimentary example to validate that this works. We’ll start with Boston Realtors, for the data points of Brokerage Names, Website URLs, Email Addresses and Realtor Names. Now that your overall task has been defined, you’re ready to proceed. Here’s the most important thing, and the crux of this whole method.
Adjust your Google Searches to ASK QUESTIONS as opposed to Keywords.
Your first question could be something like “Give me the Top 10 Realtors in Boston“. You will see that AI Overviews will give you ten names accordingly. Further refinement can be obtained by asking for the Top 10 Realtors in a particular neighbourhood (great for sourcing those Realtors who farm a local territory). Copy those ten names into a spreadsheet.
Next, copy one of those names and submit your next question-type Google search in the form of “What is the website URL for {realtor name} operating out of Boston?” If there’s a website for that Realtor, AI Overviews will return it on their answer almost always. Keep track of it in your spreadsheet.
Third, you want the email address. Your next question-type Google query should be in the form of “What is the email address for {realtor name} operating out of Boston with the website URL {website URL}?” Again, copy that down and track it on your spreadsheet
Lastly (for this example), you want to find out the Brokerage Names of these Top 10 realtors. Send your question-type query to Google in the now-familiar format as follows “What is the name of the brokerage for {realtor name} operating out of Boston with website URL {website URL}?” Copy the brokerage name and paste it into your spreadsheet.
At this point, you should now have a tidy spreadsheet with 4 columns of highly accurate data that you can slide right into your sales funnel. See for yourself, try it out on your own choices for Industry, Region and Data. No matter what your desired criteria, this method works very well and will save you much time and money.
This process can also work at scale. Here at Digitera, we’ve scraped data points from over 60,000 companies and used it in Email Blasts, bulk Facebook messages, etc to great success. We’re now offering this at-scale service to customers, and are ready for your inquiries.
